5/6/2011 Stacked Deck version 1.3 has been approved for release. This version include some minor UI tweaks and bug fixes. More notably, this version is a universal binary with iPad support. iOS 4.0+ is required.
I originally resisted doing an iPad version since, to me at least, the form factor didn't match. If your‘re at the DMV, the doctor‘s office, in a boring meeting, pull out your iPhone (or iPod touch) and go through a deck. If you're at home lying on the couch, you can just as easily use a real deck. But the promise of a larger, less cramped layout won me over.
Part of the reason this version took so long (I started working on it on December 5th) is due to a complete rethinking of how to manage and enter decks. The process has been simplified to one screen to edit the title, cards and mnemonics. I might try to bring some of that simplification back to the iPhone – if I can get past the limited screen real estate.
